About Me

My photo
Josephine Mead
Josephine Mead's work explores our innate human desire for aesthetic beauty, through the exploration of man-made and natural beauty, and subsequent emotional reactions, Josephine has tapped into the existence of spirituality through the aesthetic experience. Adapting natural environments have a fleeting nature, akin to that of human emotionality. The nature of these states, one physical/aesthetic , one emotional, are made up of complex layers, so fragile they cannot be collectively discerned. Josephine is concerned with exploring the sense of spirituality and meaning one can experience when overwhelmed with the aesthetic effects of a particular space.
